Tap Frenzy — as many taps as you can in 10 seconds

The 10 seconds start with your first tap. Tap the button or keyboard as fast as you can, and your tap count is recorded along with your average and peak taps per second. Master difficulty makes you alternate between two buttons.

About the game

Tap Frenzy is a finger-speed game: tap a button as many times as you can for 10 seconds from your first tap. Your tap count is your record, shown with your average and peak taps per second.

How to play

  1. The 10-second timer starts the moment you first tap the big button.
  2. Tap the button as many times as you can for 10 seconds. Space, Enter, F and J keys work too.
  3. Beat the tap count for your level to clear it. Taps faster than 20 per second are not counted.
  4. On Master you must alternate the left and right buttons (F and J keys). Tapping the same side twice in a row does not count.

Difficulty

Easy
40 taps in 10s (4 per second)
Normal
55 taps in 10s (5.5 per second)
Hard
70 taps in 10s (7 per second)
Master
80 taps in 10s, alternating two buttons

Tips

  • Keep your wrist still and tap lightly and quickly rather than pressing hard with one finger. You will last longer.
  • On a phone, alternating both thumbs is much faster. On a PC, try alternating the F and J keys with two fingers.
  • Spending all your energy in the first 3 seconds slows you down at the end. A steady rhythm gives better records.

Frequently asked questions

When do the 10 seconds start?
The moment you first tap the button, so you can wait until you are ready. That first tap counts too.
Why are very fast taps not counted?
To block input no human hand can make (auto clickers, drumming many fingers at once), at most 20 taps are counted in any one second.
How is Master different?
You must alternate the left and right buttons. Tapping the same side twice in a row is a missed tap and does not count. On a keyboard use F and J or the ← and → keys.
